The northern area of Ho Chi Minh City (including Bau Bang, Phu Giao, Bac Tan Uyen districts and Tan Uyen city, the old Binh Duong province) was originally a locality for agricultural development. Previously, there were only small, narrow 2-lane routes connecting localities.
In recent years, localities have been planned to build about 30 clusters and industrial parks with about 10,500 hectares.
To develop industry and urban areas in the North, a nearly 50 km long road has been built. This traffic route is named the Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang Tourism Road.
This is a group B project, a level II traffic project, with a scale of 6 lanes, a design speed of 80km/h with a total investment of more than 5,256 billion VND. Of which, the construction cost is more than VND 3,067 billion and the compensation and site clearance cost is VND 1,531 billion...
According to records, this is one of the longest 6-lane road in Binh Duong province (previously), considered as beautiful as a highway. The road is invested synchronously and connected smoothly.
After 4 years of construction, the entire route has been completed and connected smoothly. Currently, the contractor is maintaining and repairing some sections to prepare for handover to local management.
According to records, looking down from above on the road in the North of Ho Chi Minh City is like a silk strip. The road axis intersects with important traffic routes such as: National Highway 13, DT 741 road, Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project... forming a vital traffic axis.
The starting point of the route is at Tan Thanh intersection connecting to DT 746 road. Here, you can conveniently move to VSIP 3 Industrial Park, Dat Quoc Industrial Park. For the next 45 km, the route passes through the large agricultural land of Bau Bang, Phu Giao, Bac Tan Uyen.
The end point connects with Bau Bang Industrial Park, Bau Bang expansion and Cay Truong Industrial Park. Here, it is easy to travel to Ho Chi Minh Road to travel to the Central Highlands or the Southwest.
The route has been put into use, helping industrial parks in the North of Ho Chi Minh City to transport goods and raw materials conveniently. In addition, it creates momentum for the development of industry and urban areas in the North of Ho Chi Minh City.
