The Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Hanoi City Police has just verified and handled two male students for driving motorbikes swerving and zigzagging on Khuat Duy Tien street.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of May 20, Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 - Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police made a record of handling K.Q. H (born in 2009, residing in Hanoi, currently a high school student) for the following acts: driving a motorbike without a helmet, carrying people on the vehicle without a helmet and driving a vehicle without a rearview mirror, swerving, and zigzagging on the road.
Because he was not yet 18 years old, the total fine for H was more than 5.2 million VND. The person sitting behind the car was also recorded by functional forces for not wearing a helmet as prescribed.

Previously, on May 19, through monitoring on cyberspace, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department discovered a video recording the scene of two young men riding a motorbike together, without helmets, traveling on Khuat Duy Tien street.
Notably, vehicle drivers continuously have acts of swerving, zigzagging, and moving at high speed in the middle of the traffic flow, posing a potential risk of traffic accidents.
Immediately after receiving the information, Colonel Tran Dinh Nghia - Head of the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police directed professional units to quickly verify, clarify and strictly handle violations.
After a process of reviewing and verifying, by the afternoon of May 20, Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 had identified the driver. At the police station, H admitted all of his violations.
The Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police said that in the coming time, it will continue to strengthen the handling of violations of traffic order and safety posted on social networks, especially cases of teenagers driving at high speed, swerving, and zigzagging, causing danger to the community.
Functional agencies also recommend that parents need to strengthen management and remind their children to strictly comply with regulations when participating in traffic, especially during the time when students enter the summer vacation.
