More than 100 people search overnight for a missing man in Dak Lak Lake

Dak Lak More than 100 people are searching for a man suspected of drowning in the Phu Xuan lake area, in Xuan Phuoc commune.

On the morning of July 15, authorities and people of Xuan Phuoc commune are continuing to search for a man suspected of drowning in the Phu Xuan A lake area, in Phu Xuan A village, Xuan Phuoc commune, Dak Lak province.

Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on July 14, two children residing in Suoi May village while grazing cows in Phu Xuan A village discovered a man roaming a lake about 400m from the shore, calling for help.

The students immediately ran to report to Mr. Tran Khanh Van - a person with a nearby cow farm. When arriving, Mr. Van only saw the victim submerged in water and immediately reported it to the authorities.

Immediately afterwards, the Military Police, Xuan Phuoc Commune Police and Rescue Team of Area 9 (under the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Province Police) coordinated with the people to organize the search.

Specifically, the authorities mobilized more than 100 people to search all night but as of this morning, the victim had not been found.

At the scene, the authorities discovered a citizen identification card named Ngo Tu (born in 1971), residing in Tuy An Tay commune, Dak Lak province, and two phones near the area where the victim was suspected of drowning.
