On the morning of August 16, at April 2 Square, Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province, Nhan Dan Newspaper coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to organize a national walking program "Marching With Vietnam".
This is one of the activities towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The program is broadcast live from the central gateway of Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi City and is connected with 34 provinces and cities with more than 3,300 communes, wards and administrative specialties across the country.
In Khanh Hoa, the central bridge point is located at April 2 Square, Nha Trang Ward. After the flag-raising ceremony and the national anthem singing, Mr. Ho Xuan Truong - Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial Police and nearly 1,500 officers, soldiers, students and people participated in walking along Tran Phu Street.
With the most beautiful walking distance along the coastal road in Nha Trang, each step is recognized as a contribution to the sports community, improving health entering a new era.
In addition to the central bridge at April 2 Square, all communes, wards and special zones in the province have nearly 10,000 people from the provincial armed forces, students and people participating in the program.

According to the organizers, "Marching forward with Vietnam" is a community event of unprecedented scale, with profound political and social significance.
With the message of "1 billion steps into the new era", the program responds to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the movement "Health to build and protect the Fatherland".
Thereby, creating a journey to connect millions of hearts, converging all generations and classes of people from urban to rural areas, mountainous areas, remote areas, islands together towards the goal of building a united, strong and sustainable Vietnam.
