Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch requesting departments, agencies, branches and localities to focus resources and urgently deploy compensation, support, and resettlement work to serve the North-South high-speed railway project section passing through the province.
In Ninh Binh province, the preliminary total investment for site clearance is more than 5,700 billion VND. The Provincial People's Committee is the investment decision-making agency and is responsible for completing the task in the fourth quarter of 2028.
To ensure progress, the Provincial People's Committee assigned Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 3 to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of communes and wards with routes passing through to accelerate the implementation of resettlement areas.
The Department of Finance is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to advise on plans to allocate capital sources promptly and in accordance with regulations; implemented capital sources are balanced from the central and local budgets annually.
The Department of Construction is responsible for monitoring, guiding, and urging localities; and at the same time arranging capable and experienced officials to appraise resettlement area projects, ensuring technical quality and implementation progress.
Relevant departments and agencies such as the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the Department of Industry and Trade closely coordinate with the Department of Construction and local authorities in the implementation process.
