The video contest "Green Creativity Challenge" organized by the Green Future Fund has closed, the Anahata team (Hanoi) won first prize.

Right in the first season, the contest attracted more than 700 entries from young content creators nationwide, and recorded more than one million views on digital platforms and strongly spread the green living message to the community.

The award ceremony was held on July 28 - World Nature Conservation Day. Overcoming more than 700 works, the Anahata team including three members Pham Thanh Luan, Duong Thi Hong Anh and Pham Thu Hien won the First Prize worth 50 million VND with the work "Green Journey - Healthy Energy".

The work chooses to tell a close story about the energy source in each person's daily life. Through the character Luan with the ability to see the "energy light" of everyone, the video depicts the silent effects of smoke, dust, noise, congestion and urban rhythm of life on physical and mental health. From there, the video conveys the message that green travel choices not only contribute to reducing emissions but also help each person regenerate energy, find balance and move towards a more sustainable lifestyle.

Two Second Prizes, each worth 35 million VND, were awarded to the Green Flag team from Phu Quoc (An Giang) with the work "Gen Green - We sow green faith together", spreading love for nature through small daily actions, and the Mica La Ca team (Hanoi) with the work "One shirt, ten thousand streets", encouraging the life cycle of fashion products to promote sustainable consumption and reduce waste from fast fashion.

The Organizing Committee also awarded 3 Third Prizes, each worth 20 million VND, 4 Consolation Prizes, each worth 10 million VND, along with sub-prizes to honor works with professional quality, positive spread and outstanding response movements.

Commenting on the quality of the entries, Mr. Tran Duc Viet, General Director of V-Film, Head of the Judging Panel of the competition, said: "The most outstanding point of the competition is the professional quality of the works. The Judging Panel highly appreciates many videos with new ideas, good cinematic language, tight storytelling and the ability to convey environmental messages according to the trend of creating modern, close and emotional content. This shows that young Vietnamese creators possess great potential when they are facilitated, oriented and given development opportunities.

Launched from the beginning of June 2026 on the Gen Green platform, "Green Creativity Challenge" is a playground for content creators, KOLs, KOCs and young people across the country to tell inspiring stories about three themes: green environment, green movement and green energy.

Representative of the accompanying unit, Mr. Ta Hong Son, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, shared: "What is commendable is that young people not only receive the message of green living, but have proactively created content, applied digital technology and modern communication language to spread positive values to the community. In the coming time, we hope to continue to expand the scale of the contest, in which the Youth Union will continue to promote its role as a bridge between the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State and the specific actions of the young generation, turning the spirit of innovation into a driving force to promote green transformation, making practical contributions to the goal of sustainable development and commitment to net zero emissions of Vietnam".

The success of the competition is the premise for the Fund for a Green Future to aim to establish a network of young content creators on the theme of environment and green living nationwide in 2027. Photo: BTC.

According to Dr. Le Thai Ha, Executive Director of the For a Green Future Fund, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest: "The most encouraging thing after the first season is not only the selection of excellent works from more than 700 contested videos or reaching millions of views on digital platforms, but also the fact that we have started to build a Green Creators community - young people who choose to use creativity to spread positive values and inspire the community. We believe that as more and more content creators join hands to tell meaningful stories about the environment and green lifestyle, it will not only stop at messages, but will gradually become practical actions in the community.

Continuing the success of the first season, the Green Future Fund will continue to coordinate with educational agencies, organizations, digital platforms, media units and content creator communities to expand the scale of the contest in 2027. At the same time, the Fund will gradually develop the Green Creators network nationwide through training, networking, advising and accompanying young creators, contributing to forming a generation of active digital citizens.
