Accordingly, in May 2025, Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee approved the investment project to build the project to Preserve and reinforce the Hon Vong Phu relic belonging to the An Hoach Mountain Art and Scenic Relic Cluster (Nhoi Mountain), formerly An Hung ward, old Thanh Hoa city, now Dong Quang ward, Thanh Hoa province.

The total investment of the project is 17 billion VND, from the provincial budget. The project implementation time is completed before December 31, 2025.
After the project was approved, the construction unit urgently deployed relic reinforcement items. After many months of construction, the project has now been almost completed.

According to records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the construction unit has dismantled scaffolding, elevator systems and no longer operates construction in the relic area. Hon Vong Phu has a new appearance with white as the main color tone.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, the national relic Hon Vong Phu was facing the risk of collapse at any time after being struck by lightning many times.

The most recent lightning strike was on June 15, 2022, causing a large rock mass to landslide. Faced with this situation, at the end of 2023, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province organized a scientific conference to assess the current situation and propose solutions to preserve Hon Vong Phu relic.
At the conference, many experts and scientists consulted opinions to choose the most optimal and feasible conservation solution.

By mid-2024, Thanh Hoa City People's Committee had invested in a lightning protection system at Hon Vong Phu relic, with a total cost of more than 800 million VND.
