On December 6, the People's Committee of Hue City launched the "Quang Trung Campaign" in Loc An and Khe Tre communes, mobilizing all resources to urgently repair and repair houses that were severely damaged by natural disasters in late October and November.
In Loc An commune, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang directly inspected the scene, encouraged the people and requested the construction units to work quickly, work day and night, and handle the obstacles as soon as possible, absolutely not allowing administrative procedures to slow down the progress of supporting the people. He emphasized that all newly built houses must meet the "3 hard" standards, ensuring the safest shelter for people in the face of natural disasters.
The city's leaders also requested units and localities to properly review beneficiaries and make transparent information to prevent negativity or policy profiteering. At the same time, the city mobilizes maximum social resources according to the motto "whoever has something to contribute", construction is economical, sustainable and on schedule.
The recent storms and floods have completely damaged 5 houses in Hue, 9 houses were severely damaged; Loc An alone had 3 houses that were severely damaged, Khe Tre had 10 houses that collapsed or were damaged. The "Quang Trung Campaign" is expected to help people have stable housing in time, celebrate Tet together in new, safe houses.
