The project to build a road connecting cultural heritage, tourism and economic development along the Red River in Hung Yen province is identified as a key transport project, with the meaning of expanding development space, linking heritages and creating momentum to promote socio-economic growth in riverside areas.
Currently, localities, investors and contractors are focusing resources on accelerating site clearance (GPMB), infrastructure construction to ensure progress according to plan.
Immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony, the contractor consortium mobilized nearly 100 machines and equipment, and deployed 8 construction teams along the entire route. The simultaneous construction organization shows great determination in completing the strategic route, creating a new connecting axis along the Red River.
In Son Nam ward, the project needs to reclaim more than 42 hectares with a total of 1,612 plots of land, including 50 plots of residential land. The locality has completed the inventory of agricultural land, approved the origin of land, appraised prices and approved compensation plans for 208 households. The households have received the money and handed over the land according to regulations. Up to now, the ward has handed over 1.35 km of site to the contractor.

In Hong Chau ward, where the second largest volume of land acquisition is located, the route is about 6.55 km long. The area to be recovered is about 33.92 hectares, with 973 plots of land expected to be recovered. Recently, the ward has directed specialized agencies to urgently issue notices of land recovery, implement measurements, counts, determine land origin and submit compensation plans for approval in accordance with regulations.
To ensure the overall progress of the project, the local government recommends that households subject to land acquisition strictly comply with the provisions of law and State policies on compensation, site clearance and resettlement.
At the same time, localities continue to promote a sense of responsibility, solidarity, and coordination with construction units to speed up the progress of site clearance, hand over clean land soon, and create conditions for the project to be completed on schedule.
When completed, the project will contribute to promoting the connection of tourism - cultural space along the Red River, while opening up great space for economic development of Hung Yen province in the coming years.
