Implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch and the Official Dispatch of the Provincial People's Committee, the Director of Hung Yen Provincial Police, Ben Hiep Waterway Police Station (Traffic Police Department) has proactively implemented a plan to ensure order and safety of waterway traffic in stormy conditions.
The Station's forces mobilized 100% of the troops to be on duty, fully prepared with means according to the "4 on-site" motto to be ready to respond and overcome the consequences of natural disasters. The station closely monitors the water level changes on the rivers, proactively anchors ships and boats in the right locations, and propagates and notifies people to limit travel on the river during the storm.
At the same time, the Waterway Police force has increased patrols, controls, and coordinated with functional forces to ensure safety of waterway lanes, routes, and ferry terminals; resolutely and strictly handle violations of regulations on waterway traffic safety and order. Vehicles that do not meet safety conditions, carry more people than prescribed or travel in bad weather conditions are promptly blocked.
The station also maintains a combat regime, ready to mobilize forces and means to rescue and overcome the consequences as soon as situations arise, ensuring absolute safety for people and property on the rivers.
