Mr. Tran Ngoc Phan - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Duc Co district, Gia Lai province said that since the implementation of the new rural construction program, the appearance of the countryside and the lives of local people have had many positive changes.
"The transportation system is invested synchronously from district to commune, from commune to village, hamlet and production area. Schools, health stations, and infrastructure are increasingly spacious, receiving support from the people. Many typical examples in new rural construction have also appeared, Mr. Phan shared.
The Duc Co district government has effectively promoted State capital sources, while mobilizing people's efforts through contributing contributions, goods, and land to build social welfare projects.

In the 2021-2025 period, Duc Co district has built 57.6km of rural roads with a total cost of more than 65 billion VND. Of which, the provincial budget supports nearly 31.6 billion VND; the district and commune budgets are more than 29.9 billion VND; the rest is contributed by people and businesses with more than 3.5 billion VND.
Thanks to synchronous investment, the rate of hardening of village, hamlet and inter-village roads reached over 90%, an increase of more than 16% compared to 2020. Alley and hamlet roads are hardened at 79%; alley roads in residential areas are 85%; and inland roads are 67%.
The district aims to harden 100% of village, hamlet and inter-village roads according to regulations by 2030; the rate of hardening of residential area alleys in urban areas will reach 89%; Inland canals will reach 71%.

In communes such as Ia Nan, Ia Pon, Ia Mek, Ia Kla... many concrete roads have been built, running through lush coffee plantations and cashew gardens. People no longer have to wade through muddy, muddy roads with red soil during the rainy season, but can travel conveniently on solid, clean and beautiful roads.
Mr. Hoang Duc Anh - Chairman of Ia Kla Commune People's Committee said that from the State's investment capital, the commune government has mobilized people to participate in building inter-village roads by contributing working days.
To date, more than 90% of the roads in the commune have been paved with asphalt or concrete. During the implementation process, people actively responded, even proactively contributing more funds to work with the government to complete the rural transport infrastructure system.

In Ia Doc commune, in the period of 2021-2025, the commune has built 8.9km of traffic roads with a total cost of more than 10.1 billion VND. Thanks to that, people's travel and transportation of goods is much more convenient.
In the coming time, Duc Co district will continue to make efforts to build rural infrastructure, linking agriculture with industrial and service development, connecting rural areas with urban areas. The important goal is to improve the material and spiritual life of the people.
