Binh Giang District (Hai Duong Province) has reorganized specialized agencies under the District People's Committee in accordance with the directives of the Central Government, the province and the district's plan.
After being unified and approved at the Conference of the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the District Party Committee, at the 17th session (Special Session), the People's Council of Binh Giang District (Hai Duong Province) term XX approved the arrangement and reorganization of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee.
The rearrangement and reorganization of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee includes:
Merge the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs into the District Department of Home Affairs on the basis of receiving all functions and tasks of the current Department of Home Affairs and functions and tasks of labor, wages; employment; meritorious people; occupational safety and hygiene; social insurance; gender equality of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.
Merge the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment into the District Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of receiving all functions and tasks of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the District Department of Natural Resources and Environment and receiving additional functions and tasks of poverty reduction from the District Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.
Establish the District Department of Culture, Science and Information on the basis of receiving all functions and tasks of the District Department of Culture and Information and receiving additional functions and tasks of science and technology from the District Department of Economics and Infrastructure.
Establish the District Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department on the basis of receiving all functions and tasks of the District Economic and Infrastructure Affairs Department after transferring the functions and tasks of Science and Technology to the District Department of Culture, Science and Information.
Specialized agencies receive additional functions and tasks such as: The District Department of Education and Training receives additional functions and tasks of vocational education from the District Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; The District People's Council and People's Committee Office receives additional functions and tasks of social protection, children and prevention and control of social evils from the District Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.
Maintain the names and functions of the 3 departments and equivalents: Department of Justice, Department of Finance - Planning and District Inspectorate.
Thus, after the arrangement and merger, the People's Committee of Binh Giang district (Hai Duong province) has 9 specialized agencies including: Department of Home Affairs, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Culture, Science and Information, Department of Economics, Infrastructure and Urban Areas, Department of Education and Training, Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of the district, Department of Justice, Department of Finance - Planning, District Inspectorate, 2 departments reduced, 2 department heads reduced.
