Recently, the situation of cyclos and homemade 3-4 wheel vehicles violating traffic safety order in Khanh Hoa is still complicated.
To enhance traffic safety, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police will organize a review of types of vehicles operating in the area.
Organize extensive propaganda on mass media about the Road Traffic Law, the Road Traffic Safety Law and other legal documents.
Propagate local government regulations related to cyclos, electric motorized cyclos and other homemade vehicles so that vehicle owners and operators strictly comply with the provisions of the law on road traffic.
The Provincial Police also coordinated with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation to organize propaganda for cyclo drivers of the Tourism Cyclo Union, signing a commitment to comply with regulations on traffic safety and order.
Through inspection and review of the situation, the Provincial Police will also increase patrols and strictly handle cases of cyclos, cyclos with electric engines, other types of homemade 3-4 wheel vehicles such as three-wheeled tractors, three-wheeled motorbikes, tractors... violating traffic safety order. Especially vehicles operating on routes and areas with high tourist demand.
Preliminary statistics show that Khanh Hoa province currently has about 1,200 cyclos. Of which, Nha Trang Tourism Cyclo Union is managing more than 400 union members.
