On October 2, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province to organize a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of houses for households in difficult circumstances affected by storm No. 10 in Quynh Nhat commune, Ninh Binh province.

According to initial reports, on the night of September 28 and the morning of September 29, thunderstorms appeared in 7 communes in Ninh Binh province, causing serious damage to people and property; killing 9 people, injuring 49 people, and completely collapsing 24 houses.
Sharing the difficulties of families affected by storm No. 10 Bualoi in Quy Nhat commune, the working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security visited, encouraged, and conveyed the condolences of the Minister of Public Security to families with people killed by the storm and shared the difficulties with the people of Ninh Binh province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen - Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security - shared the difficulties, pain and loss of families affected by storm No. 10, and at the same time hoped that the Party Committee, government, and people, especially families that suffered heavy damage due to storm No. 10, would overcome difficulties and soon return to normal life.
Promoting the spirit of "When people need it, when people are in need, there is a police", in recent times, the police force nationwide has mobilized maximum forces and means to participate in flood prevention and control, helping people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
For households affected by storms in Ninh Binh, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to arrange funding, assign the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with functional forces, departments and local authorities to urgently start construction of houses, ensuring quality, efficiency, in accordance with local customs and practices, and soon stabilizing people's lives.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong shared the great losses of the people caused by the impact of storm No. 10.
Mr. Dang Xuan Phong requested the Provincial Police to increase forces to support people to overcome the consequences of the storm and urgently coordinate with local authorities to build new houses as quickly and with the best quality so that people can soon stabilize, work with peace of mind and improve their lives.
The quick implementation of timely support for difficulties and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and floods by the police force and Party committees and authorities at all levels demonstrates the tradition of mutual love and support; adds motivation for people to firmly believe in the policies of the Party and State, feel secure in "residing, settling down, and making a living", and building their homeland to become more and more stable and developed.
