By 7:00 AM on August 24, 2026, EVNNPC had restored power supply to over 68,250 customers out of a total of 125,003 customers affected by the circulation of storm No. 4 (Narra).

According to Vietnam Electricity Group, as of 7:00 AM on August 24, 2026, Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) has restored power supply to over 68,250 customers out of a total of 125,003 customers affected by the circulation of storm No. 4 (Narra) in Lang Son, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen provinces. In Quang Ninh alone, all affected customers have been restored to power since the night of August 23.

Rain and floods are still causing flooding in many areas of Lang Son, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong and Thai Nguyen, limiting access, inspection and treatment on the power grid.

In some areas in Lang Son and Bac Ninh, water continues to rise, causing the number of medium-voltage power lines and distribution substations to be cut off to ensure safety to increase compared to before. Typically, the area managed by Lang Son Power Company and Van Quan Power Company (Lang Son Power Company) supplying electricity has places flooded more than 3m deep.

Currently, EVNNPC continues to maintain duty shifts at units with affected areas, monitor flood developments and the operation of the power grid to manage recovery work. Forces, vehicles and supplies are arranged in key areas, ready to inspect, handle incidents and restore power supply when safety conditions are ensured.
