In November 2025, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a document on applying specific mechanisms and policies in compensation, support, and resettlement to serve the North-South High-Speed Railway Project.
Accordingly, Khanh Hoa province agreed to appoint contractors for consulting, non-consulting and construction packages to carry out compensation and resettlement work according to the provisions of the 2025 Railway Law and Resolution No. 172 of the National Assembly.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requires investors of component projects for compensation, support and resettlement to proactively review and implement related work, ensuring strictness, transparency, compliance with bidding regulations, absolutely no loss, waste or negativity.
The application of specific mechanisms and policies aims to ensure project progress, so investors need to focus on implementing it on schedule assigned by the National Assembly and the Government.
Relevant departments and branches are responsible for monitoring, supervising, guiding, and supporting investors in organizing the implementation of project work according to their functions.
The North-South High-Speed Railway Project through Khanh Hoa is about 191.8 km long, starting at Dai Lanh Commune (adjacent to Dak Lak) and ending at Phuoc Ha Commune (adjacent to Lam Dong).
In the province, there are 2 passenger stations (Dien Khanh, Thap Cham) and 1 cargo station (Ninh Hoa) serving connections to Van Phong Economic Zone. The entire line has 4 maintenance stations in Tu Bong, Cam An, Xuan Hai and Phuoc Ha.
The Provincial Project Management Boards are assigned to be the investors for 3 component project sections of compensation, support and resettlement.
There are currently 31 resettlement areas, of which 13 are existing, 18 are newly built and expanded. The total construction area of resettlement areas is about 99.25 hectares, expected to invest in 2,217 plots of land with a cost of VND1,744.37 billion.
