Quang Tri also assigned the Department of Home Affairs to appraise, synthesize, and develop a general master plan of the province to submit to the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for consideration before January 12, 2025, and submit to the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee before January 15, 2025.
“I have also requested agencies and units to step up propaganda and mobilization work, create consensus and unity in the process of restructuring and proposing plans to improve the organizational apparatus; not to affect or interrupt the work of serving people and businesses. In particular, absolutely do not allow negativity or favoritism in the process of restructuring the organizational apparatus,” said Mr. Ha Sy Dong.
According to the instructions on the arrangement of agencies and units under the local government of Quang Tri province, the locality will maintain specialized agencies and agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, including: Department of Justice, Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, Provincial Inspectorate, Department of Foreign Affairs, Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Economic Zone Management Board. With specialized agencies under the district-level People's Committee, the Department of Finance - Planning, Department of Justice, District Inspectorate, Office of the People's Council and District-level People's Committee will be maintained.
The departments, branches and sectors under the Provincial People's Committee will merge 8 departments: Department of Planning and Investment and Department of Finance; Department of Transport and Department of Construction; Department of Natural Resources and Environment and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Department of Information and Communications and Department of Science and Technology.
Transfer the Provincial Religious Committee under the Department of Home Affairs to the Provincial Ethnic Committee, establish the Ethnic - Religious Committee. For the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, merge and transfer the state management function of labor, salary, employment, meritorious people, occupational safety and hygiene, social insurance, gender equality to the Department of Home Affairs; transfer the state management function of vocational education to the Department of Education and Training; transfer the state management function of social protection, children, and social evil prevention to the Department of Health; transfer the poverty reduction function to the Ethnic - Religious Committee.
