Hanoi - Within the framework of Earth Hour 2026, the energy saving exhibition and experience area is a highlight attracting a large number of people to participate.

On March 28, at Thong Nhat Park (Hanoi), the Launching Ceremony to respond to the Earth Hour campaign, the summer peak on energy saving and efficiency in 2026 in Hanoi City took place.

This is an extremely meaningful activity organized annually by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion - Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Department of Innovation - Ministry of Science and Technology, Hanoi Power Corporation to maintain and promote activities and movements to use energy economically and efficiently with strong spillover effects in the community, honoring collectives and individuals living in the city to actively participate and contribute to ensuring electricity supply, joining hands to save energy, save resources, and protect a sustainable living environment.

In the experience area, many interactive activities are organized to help people get closer to effective energy use solutions. Renewable energy application models in urban and household spaces are introduced visually and vividly, from solar power systems to energy-saving devices in daily life.

Notably, the electric bicycle activity has attracted the attention of a large number of participants, especially young people and families with young children. By directly generating electricity from movement, participants can better understand the value of energy and the meaning of using electricity economically in daily life.

Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang - Cua Nam ward, Hanoi - shared: "I feel very excited about this electric bicycle experience. Not only biking for fun, I can also understand more about energy, I have to pedal quite hard for the lights to turn on, so I understand more about saving electricity.

In parallel with that, the space displaying green solutions also becomes an attractive destination at the event. Here, delegates and people have the opportunity to visit products, technologies and services related to clean energy, efficient energy use and environmental protection.

Many booths have introduced advanced solutions such as power-saving equipment, renewable energy systems, and models of applying green technology in life. Visitors not only observe but also directly exchange with suppliers, thereby better understanding the actual application capabilities.
