On September 14, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai City publicly reported on the proposal to issue an environmental permit for the Project of Investment in Construction and Business of Aviation Food Supply Services No. 2 at Long Thanh International Airport (Long Thanh airport), invested by Vinacs Long Thanh Aviation Food Co., Ltd.
Accordingly, the land area for project implementation has a construction area of 30,181m2 at location E09-KV4, Long Thanh airport, construction floor area of 16,027m2 including 1 basement, 2 above-ground floors and 1 attic for technical rooms.
The project has a capacity of 20,000 meals/day, with 800 employees, the number of working days is 26 days/month, equivalent to 312 days/year.
Raw materials for processing meals are nearly 155 tons/month; dried food, fresh food, vegetables and fruits, wheat flour, and duty-free goods are brought by specialized vehicles to ensure hygiene and product quality during transportation; clean water is connected from water sources managed by the Long Thanh International Airport Project Management Board - ACV.
The project has an investment capital of nearly 662 billion VND, the current status of the project and technical infrastructure has completed the external structure and architecture and is in the completion phase.
It is expected that the commercial operation progress will be synchronized with the commercial operation time of Long Thanh airport in the fourth quarter of 2026.
