On February 28, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport issued a document requesting the Project Management Boards, investors, districts, towns, Thu Duc City and related units to organize inspections, reviews, adjustments, and additions to road signs, and regular maintenance on the routes in operation, ensuring that signs must be arranged reasonably, scientifically, easily recognizable and in accordance with traffic organization plans.
At the same time, develop a plan to replace signs on roads in operation according to the transition roadmap specified in QCVN41:2024/BGTVT.
For investment projects in construction, renovation, upgrading, expansion, and repair of roads, the Department of Transport recommends that units direct the organization of design reviews to adjust and supplement road signs according to QCVN41:2024/BGTVT for packages that have not yet constructed road signs and must comply with the transitional regulations of this regulation.
The Road Traffic Infrastructure Management Center, the Urban Traffic Management and Operation Center, and the Inspectorate of the Department of Transport are assigned to guide, inspect, and urge agencies, organizations, investors, and enterprises assigned by the State to invest in the construction, business, and exploitation of road works, and project investors to fully implement the above contents.
