On September 6, Lam Dong Provincial Police said that the forces had promptly rescued the 2-month-old baby trapped in a deeply flooded house in K'Ren village, Hiep Thanh commune.

On the evening of September 5, prolonged heavy rain caused many villages in Hiep Thanh commune, Lam Dong province to be deeply flooded, many households were isolated.

The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police of the Provincial Police coordinated with the Commune Police and local forces to be on duty and organize search and rescue.

At 0:30 on September 6, the authorities received a report that K, about 2 months old, was trapped in a deeply flooded and isolated house. K's condition with purple skin and high fever.

The authorities swam through the rising floodwaters, approached and rescued K. K was brought out safely and promptly transferred to Duc Trong Medical Center for treatment.

The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police and local forces continued to evacuate and rescue 3 more children and 20 people in the flooded area. At the same time, move people's assets to safe areas.
