There are still many difficulties and challenges
According to research, poverty reduction work in Krong Nang commune is still facing many difficulties and challenges.
In particular, a group of ethnic minorities in poor and near-poor households still do not have the awareness of rising up on their own, and are relying on the support of the State and local authorities.
In some ethnic minority villages and hamlets, areas with special difficulties, the spirit of solidarity and mutual support in the community is still limited.

People's farming and livestock farming are still small and fragile; many households have not boldly borrowed capital to expand production, mainly just enough to make a living.
In addition, resources for poverty reduction in the locality are still limited, not meeting practical needs.
Mr. Y Doan Mo, in Mrum village, Krong Nang commune, has a disability in his hand, so he has many difficulties in working. After that, the local government supported him with a breeding cow to develop cattle farming.
Mr. Y Doan shared: "five years ago, I never thought I could escape poverty. Previously, the family only relied on subsidies and gifts for holidays and Tet. But thanks to the encouragement of the salesman and policy officer, I changed my thinking and worked hard to raise cows with my wife. Now the cows are grown up, hoping to breed soon to earn more income".
According to Mr. Y Doan, not only in Mrom village but also in many other places, people still have the mentality of relying on support. Therefore, the government and village and hamlet heads need to organize more propaganda and training sessions to help people change their thinking, equip themselves with business skills, and self-reliance to escape poverty sustainably.
Synchronously deploy solutions
Faced with current difficulties and challenges, the People's Committee of Krong Nang commune is developing and implementing a sustainable poverty reduction plan for the period 2025-2030.
The goal is to develop the socio-economy of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in accordance with the orientation set out in the resolutions.

Krong Nang commune will proactively select potential projects and programs, implement synchronously, suitable to the economic, cultural and social characteristics of the locality.
This approach is to effectively use resources, avoid spreading and wasting the budget.
Mr. Le Hong Van - Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Nang commune - said that from the capital of the National Target Program and other resources, the commune will focus on key contents to sustainably reduce poverty.

Specifically, the locality will orient people to borrow preferential capital to develop the economy, create jobs; support education for children of poor and near-poor households; vocational training, vocational orientation; invest in healthcare, clean water in especially disadvantaged villages and hamlets.
In addition, the commune will build a team of full-time cadres, village and hamlet heads with qualifications and capacity to effectively implement poverty reduction programs.
In particular, focusing on propaganda, policy dissemination and changing thinking to make a living for the people", Mr. Van emphasized.
