On the afternoon of September 16, Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with leaders of Ward 1 Bao Loc, Ward 2 Bao Loc and Ward B'Lao on the progress of site clearance (GPMB) for 2 key projects.

According to the report, the Tan Phu - Bao Loc expressway project passes through the communes of Da Huoai, Da Hoai 2, Da Teh 2, Ward 2 Bao Loc and Ward 1 Bao Loc (Lam Dong).
This project affects nearly 4 hectares of residential land, about 231 hectares of agricultural land; 133 hectares of forest land, over 14 hectares of traffic land, rivers and streams, unused land and nearly 17 hectares of land of 8 organizations, nearly 1,250 households will be affected. Of which, nearly 200 households were resettled on the expressway.

For the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway project passing through Bao Loc Ward 1, there are 32 hectares of agricultural land for perennial crops and 4.6 hectares of other land of 171 households and 1 organization affected by the project.
According to the report, Ward 1 Bao Loc has more than 350 households subject to compensation for land, housing, crops and related assets to reclaim land for the Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressway projects.
Currently, 61 households will be resettled. Ward 1 has completed the land price appraisal for the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong project and is coordinating with relevant units to complete the land price.
Ward 2 Bao Loc has the Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project passing through, affecting 594 households with a total impact of 1.72 hectares of residential land and 93.86 hectares of agricultural land.
In addition, there are 23.3 hectares of national defense land, 6.95 hectares of forest land and 11.57 hectares of 4 organizations and enterprises. Currently, the ward has received the land acquisition markers and is appraising land prices.
Of the households whose land is recovered, 81 households will be resettled, of which 30 households from the old Loc Tan commune will be arranged in Bao Lam 1 commune.
B'Lao Ward is planning a resettlement residential area on an area of 30,214 m2 with 78 residential land lots, with a total investment of about VND 15,085 billion.
The project has established a plan and organized the public posting of compensation and resettlement support plans.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai acknowledged the efforts of units and localities related to the two expressways.
He emphasized that the large traffic volume is overloading National Highway 20, posing a potential risk to traffic safety and affecting the socio-economic development of the province.
He also requested localities, the No. 1 Construction Investment Project Management Board and departments and branches to urgently coordinate in handing over the site to investors to ensure the progress of the two expressway projects.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, site clearance and resettlement arrangements are key tasks that need to be implemented transparently and effectively to reach consensus from the people.
