According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province, up to now, the total number of pigs that have contracted illness, died and been destroyed is 697.
These pigs belong to 18 households raised in 10 communes, including Dak Dak Dak, Tuy Duc, Quang Tin, Cu cut, Krong No, Duc An, Truong Xuan, Nhan Co, Nam Da and Bao Lam 1. Currently, there are 9 communes with outbreaks less than 21 days.

Initially, it was determined that the pigs transported on the car with license plate 49C-214.89 showed unusual signs and the 3 pigs died.
The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Dak Lak province has deployed the collection of samples and sent samples for testing of the batch of 3 dead pigs and is waiting for testing results.
The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Dak Lak province assigned the Phuong Hoang Animal Quarantine Station and the M'Drak Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station and local authorities to monitor, care for, raise, manage and clinically check the above pigs.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to strictly implement measures to prevent African swine fever, mobilize resources to completely handle outbreaks and prevent spread.
Direct quarantine and control of the transportation of pigs and pig products; strictly implement quarantine and certificate issuance according to regulations; strengthen supervision and strictly handle violations of disease prevention, veterinary hygiene and food safety.
