At the press conference on the morning of September 9, Mr. Nguyen Tran Nhat Huy - Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Finance informed that the whole province currently has 365 difficult and problematic projects with a total land area of 24,616.8ha, total investment capital of 314,049 billion VND.
Of which, 179 projects have completed removal, with an area of 6,879.4ha and a total capital of 80,713.5 billion VND. 186 projects are still being processed, with an area of 17,736.86ha and a total capital of 2,333.344 billion VND.
Among these, 19 projects are under central authority, including 15 projects overlapping the Planning for exploration, exploitation, processing and use of minerals according to Decision 866/QD-TTg and 4 other projects with problems.
167 projects under local authority, of which 21 projects apply specific mechanisms and policies according to Resolution 29/2026/QH16 and Decree 147/2026/ND-CP; 144 projects are removed according to current legal regulations.
Notably, some projects under local authority still have to seek opinions from the Central Government. Among them, the Da Lat Resort Project (Doi Cu) needs opinions from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the construction of works in the protection area II.
The Hong Liem Oil Forest project needs the Ministry of National Defense's opinion on the deployment of over 100ha of land planned for defense purposes.
The project of land reclamation, resettlement and urban embellishment of Duc Long ward needs to seek the Prime Minister's opinion on the 350m long sea dyke section.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has reported and proposed a handling plan and is awaiting the Central Government's opinion to implement the next procedures.
