On June 24, Standing Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen, Head of Task Force No. 1, chaired the 5th meeting to assess the results and urge the work of removing difficulties for more than 100 non-budget investment projects in the area.

To date, Task Force No. 1 has reviewed, handled or identified handling directions for 101 out of 133 projects assigned for monitoring, reaching a rate of 75.93%.
These projects have a total investment capital of about 7,899 billion VND, using more than 69,142 hectares of land.
Among the projects that have been considered, 13 projects have been removed from the monitoring list because they have been completely handled or are no longer within the scope of resolution.
In addition, 11 projects no longer have obstacles in mechanisms and policies and are continuing to complete administrative procedures according to regulations.
For the group of projects that are still facing difficulties, many problems related to land, planning, investment progress and financial obligations have been resolved or clear handling directions have been identified.

The working group also classifies projects by groups of problems to have appropriate solutions. Projects that are still feasible for implementation are focused on supporting the completion of procedures.
Conversely, projects that have been prolonged for many years but are no longer feasible will be considered for handling according to regulations to improve the efficiency of land use and investment resources.
However, there are still 32 projects being monitored and handled. Many projects are related to national mineral planning, land use planning, financial obligations or must wait for opinions from central agencies.
Mr. Le Trong Yen acknowledged the initial results after nearly 2 months of task implementation.

The review, classification and handling of each group of non-budget projects has helped clearly identify bottlenecks, gradually removing long-standing difficulties related to land, planning, forestry, financial obligations and investment procedures.
Standing Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen emphasized the view of continuing to accompany businesses and investors; not allowing projects with capacity and ability to be delayed due to obstacles in administrative procedures, planning or mechanisms and policies.
Mr. Le Trong Yen requested departments, branches, and localities to urgently complete dossiers for projects subject to the application of new mechanisms and policies of the National Assembly; and at the same time strengthen coordination, shorten the time to resolve procedures, especially in the fields of land and planning.
According to the leader of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the remaining workload is very large, requiring agencies and units to continue to closely monitor each project, clearly define responsibilities and implementation progress.
Task Force No. 1 will strengthen inspection, urging, and promptly remove arising bottlenecks to improve the investment environment, improve land use efficiency and create motivation for local economic growth.
