On October 12, in Xuan Huong - Da Lat ward, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee held an investment promotion conference in 2025.
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and representatives of central ministries, departments, branches, leaders of provinces and cities and hundreds of enterprises nationwide attended.
Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi said that Lam Dong has the largest natural area in the country (more than 24,000km2) with 3 ecological regions including plateau, midland, and coastal areas.
Lam Dong fully gathers elements of sea, forest, border gate, seaport... with unprecedented opportunities. These are factors that open up development potential and form new growth poles for the locality.
According to Chairman of Lam Dong People's Committee Ho Van Muoi, the whole province currently has more than 33,000 investment and business enterprises, with a total registered capital of over 350,000 billion VND.
The success of investors is the success of the province. Lam Dong province has issued an action motto: Enterprises need, the government has; enterprises are in difficulty, the government has.
"The province will continue to improve the investment environment, reform administrative procedures and make information transparent, support businesses" - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized.
Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that Lam Dong is the province with the largest area in the country, converging outstanding potentials and advantages.
The Da Lat Plateau has a temperate climate, favorable for the development of high-tech agriculture, high-quality eco-tourism, and resorts; coastal areas with a 192km long coastline, fish farms of more than 52,000km2, rich in marine economic potential, tourism and renewable energy; the vast area with the largest bauxite reserves in the country, along with abundant potential for wind power and solar power.
According to Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, Lam Dong currently has nearly 33,000 enterprises, more than 160,000 business households, and nearly 3,000 valid projects with a total capital of over 2 million billion VND.
These are figures that demonstrate the confidence of the business community and investors in Lam Dong's dynamic, transparent and potential investment environment.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh acknowledged and highly appreciated the determination of Lam Dong province in announcing 132 investment calling projects in 2025 and 358 projects in the 2026-2030 period.
These are key projects in transport infrastructure, industrial parks, energy, urban areas, high-tech agriculture, high-quality tourism, etc.
Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh suggested that Lam Dong continue to improve institutions, improve the investment and business environment for businesses to invest and develop; allocate resources for strategic infrastructure, especially highways, airports, seaports; accompany businesses, remove difficulties, promote innovation, digital transformation, develop a green economy and a circular economy.
At the investment promotion conference, Lam Dong provincial leaders awarded investment certificates to 9 units implementing projects on urban, tourism, energy, and industrial parks with a total area of 23,000 hectares and a total investment capital of over VND33,000 billion.
Lam Dong province also signed memorandums of understanding with many investors on tourism and energy projects.
On this occasion, Lam Dong province also called on businesses to invest in 72 major projects. Of which, there are 25 real estate projects, 3 tourism projects, 12 energy industry projects, 7 transport infrastructure projects...
