The Border Guard Embankment project at 04 areas of serious and urgent landslides and subsidence (milestone area: 1242-1244, 1264+1294m, 1286+450m, 1292+1320m) was approved by the People's Committee of Lang Son province under Decision No. 34/QD-UBND dated February 3, 2025.
This is a Group B project with a total investment of more than 151 billion VND, the Lang Son Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board is the project investor.
According to Lao Dong, on June 25, the Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board issued a notice to invite bids for Package No. 6: Construction package of the project.
Package 6 is widely bid online, priced at more than 83 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2024.
According to the project documents, the package will construct a new solid embankment to stabilize and protect the border in 4 areas of serious and urgent landslides and subsidence, specifically:
The riverbank embankment protects the current status of the border in the 1242 - 1244 mark with a total length of 661.76 m, including the old embankment at the foot of the 1242 mark with a length of 30.0 m and the newly built embankment section of 631.76 m: the embankment section has 1 embankment with a length of about 196.35 m, the 2 embankment sections are about 385.41 m and 2 bridges are arranged to connect with the embankment to patrol the border with a length of 25 m and 28 m.
The embankment protects the direction of the border in the 1264 + 1294 m area with a total length of the embankment of 62 m, including the vertical wall and sloped roof.
The embankment protects the direction of the border at the 1286 + 450 m mark area. The total length of the embankment is 80 m, including the vertical wall and sloped roof.
The embankment protects the direction of the border in the 1292 + 1320 m area. The total length of the embankment is 150 m, including the vertical wall and sloped roof.
The package completion time is 153 days (5 months).
