On July 22, according to Lao Dong's source, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has just issued a Decision approving the task and budget for the renovation of the Vehicle Control Board at the Coc Nam - Lung Nghiu customs clearance (area of mark 1104-1105) at Huu Nghi international border gate.
Accordingly, the Border Gate Management Center (under the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board) is the unit assigned to organize the implementation of the task.
The total estimated investment cost is more than 2.54 billion VND, drawn from the revenue from border gate infrastructure fees.
The project aims to improve working conditions and ensure traffic safety in the area of two barrier gates. The current situation shows that the work boots at Barrier No. 1 are located on the slope, posing a potential safety risk when vehicles stop and park. Meanwhile, the boots at Barrier No. 2 are degraded, moldy, and the automatic barrier system is damaged.
The project will include the construction and renovation of two working boats with a total area of each booth of about 15.6m x 2.44m, 3.62m high, with 4 functional rooms for the Border Guard, Customs, Quarantine and Transport Management forces.
The equipment system will be invested synchronously including air conditioners, desks and chairs, computers, printers, document cabinets, etc.
In addition, the project also installed a mobile fence, automatic barrier and renovated boots as well as a barrier system at gate No. 2.
The Provincial People's Committee requires the construction process to ensure absolute safety, without interrupting import-export activities. The project will be implemented in 2025.
