On August 8, the People's Committee of Lang Son province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to build a traffic route connecting Huu Lung Industrial Park, Provincial Road 245 with National Highway 31 and My An Port (Bac Giang, now in Bac Ninh province), and at the same time, a signboard was installed to celebrate the 1st Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
The project is invested by the Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, the project has a total capital of nearly 148 billion VND, is nearly 5 km long, designed according to the standards of a grade III mountainous road, with a speed of 60 km/h.
The roadbed is 9 m wide, the road surface is 6 m wide, the structure is asphalt concrete, synchronized with drainage, protection and traffic safety systems.
The project is an important regional transport project, contributing to connecting infrastructure between Lang Son and Bac Ninh, promoting socio-economic development, especially serving the transportation of goods from industrial parks in the south of Lang Son to logistics centers and inland ports.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Doan Thanh Son emphasized that the project will create a strong driving force for trade, attract investment and develop industry - trade - services, in line with the planning of the Northern midlands and mountainous areas.
At the same time, he suggested that investors implement the project according to the correct procedures, ensuring progress, quality and safety, closely coordinate with relevant agencies and local authorities to promptly handle problems.
Also at the groundbreaking ceremony, the contractor committed to constructing according to the signed design and contract, mobilizing maximum machinery, human resources and materials, striving to complete the project with the highest quality and fastest progress.
