On September 28, according to Lao Dong, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has just approved the investment policy for the Ky Cung Riverside Park project (from Dong Kinh Hotel to Ky Cung Temple) and the public parking lot in Luong Van Tri ward.
According to the decision, the park has a research area of 13,363 m2, including a yard adjacent to Ky Cung Temple, a parking bay along Nguyen Tri Phuong and Nguyen Du streets, a hall with seating steps and a stage.
More than 5,300 m2 is expected to be covered with trees and grass, along with 4,800 m2 of stone walking paths, 230 m long stone railings, and 250 m2 of community service.
The lighting, water supply and drainage system and asphalt paving of Nguyen Du Street have also been upgraded.
The project also builds a public parking lot in Luong Van Tri ward with an area of about 3,169 m2, including 662 m2 of car park, 837 m2 of motorbike parking lot, a stone walking path of over 1,000 m2 and 540 m2 of green trees and grass.
The project adds a lighting, water supply and water supply and water supply from Tran Hung Dao Street.
The total estimated investment is about 51.6 billion VND from the provincial budget. The project belongs to group C, a level IV technical infrastructure project, started construction in the third quarter of 2025, and will be completed in 2026.
The Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is assigned to coordinate with departments and branches to implement the Law on Public Investment.
The Provincial People's Committee assessed that the project will improve the quality of life of people, effectively exploit public land funds, and at the same time create a landscape and service highlight along the Ky Cung River, contributing to the implementation of the socio-economic development goals for the period 2021 - 2025.
