Overpass connecting National Highway 37
The Son Duong town bypass project and the construction of a bridge across Pho Day River have a total length of more than 4km, with a total investment of over 329 billion VND.
In particular, the overpass item is the final section of the route, connecting to QL.1 at Km 188. The Pho Day River overpass is 127 meters long and worth 50 billion VND. After a long time of construction, it has gradually been completed.
Recorded by PV at the end of March 2025, the shape of the overpass has been revealed. Workers and machinery were mobilized to carry out the drainage stage. The bridge girders have been installed, and the bridge deck and embankment at the end of the section are under construction before the closure.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Dinh Quoc Hai - Construction Site Commander - Hiep Phu Company Limited (construction unit) said that workers are synchronously deploying the installation of the bridge deck and auxiliary items. The unit strives to complete and put the overpass technical traffic into operation before April 30.
After completion, the Pho Day River Overpass will help synchronize traffic infrastructure, reduce the number of vehicles in Son Duong Town and connect with National Highway.27.
50 billion VND/km road
The road project from My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area to National Highway.2D connecting to Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway has a total investment of 487 billion VND, nearly 9km long.
This is a newly opened route, mainly passing through mountainous terrain, designed to urban standards. The project started at the end of 2021, expected to be completed and put into use in early 2025.
According to the reporter's records, after more than 3 years of implementation, some sections of the route have been completed, asphalted, and vehicles can circulate. Workers are completing lighting, trees, sidewalks, drainage ditches and underground sewer systems through residential areas.
Meanwhile, some sections of the route continue to be dug to fill the roadbed. A large amount of rock and soil was leveled from a high location to a low-lying location.
When completed, the route will help promote economic and social development, especially the My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area.
Hospital worth over 200 billion VND
The My Lam Mineral Spring Hospital project has a total investment of VND208 billion, with a scale of 200 beds. The project is invested by the Department of Health of Tuyen Quang province, starting construction at the end of 2022.
After more than 2 years of construction, the project has been basically completed and is ready to be put into use. The treatment blocks of 2 to 3 floors have been completed. Workers are completing some auxiliary items, wall painting, and water tank system.
According to a leader of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Department of Health, the project has been basically completed and is transferring machinery and equipment to the hospital for use.
My Lam Mineral Spring Hospital is the only medical unit in Tuyen Quang treating diseases related to bones, joints, dermatology, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, recommended to use "minerals".
Treated patients are immersed in a still swimming pool or wave-forming tank, mud bath, spraying water, steam bath, dry bath.
