As for fisherman Phan Hong Dang's boat that sank near the shore, on the morning of October 6, it was salvaged and brought to shore.
Also according to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Xuan Commune, at the same time, the boat of fisherman Nguyen Van Hieu (Le Loi Village, Ky Xuan Commune) fishing for squid encountered a tornado.
At this time, fishermen Hieu, with their experience, let their boats go in the wind direction, so they saved fisherman Nguyen Minh Duc (Phu Hai village, Ky Anh commune) who was drifting at sea about 1.5 hours from the mainland.
It is known that fisherman Nguyen Minh Duc was also fishing when the whirlwind hit and sank his boat, drifting at sea.
