On December 16, Hanoi City Police (CATP) held a conference to discuss the progress of implementing Plan No. 375/KH-CAHN on a peak of 60 days and nights of general review and cleaning of vehicle registration and driver's license data in the city.
According to statistics from Hanoi Police, as of 9:00 a.m. on December 15, 3,858,580 vehicles declared by citizens on the iHanoi application have been collected.
Regarding the work of reviewing and updating and supplementing driving license data, as of 5:00 p.m. on the same day, on the iHanoi platform, there were 736,525 visits to scan the paper driving license; the results of issuing and exchanging the paper driving license to the PET card from November 24 to December 15 reached 22,2202 cases; approved 463,587 cases of paper driving licenses from the command account via iHanoi.
In addition to the achieved results, the conference also seriously evaluated the implementation of the organization work at the grassroots level. Implementing the direction of the Deputy Director of CATP on comprehensively inspecting the implementation of Plan 375, CATP's inspection teams conducted inspections at 33 commune-level police units.
Through inspection, it was discovered that some units did not comply with regulations on reviewing and collecting information. For the remaining units, the inspection team requested the unit to write a commitment and be responsible for the accuracy of the cleaned data.
At the conference, the units frankly discussed and pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in the implementation process, affecting the overall progress of the entire plan.
Some units have seriously acknowledged the existing problems, analyzed the causes, and proposed solutions and committed to urgently reviewing all outstanding workloads and adjusting the approach to make up for the progress in the remaining days of the peak season.

Concluding the conference, Major General Nguyen Hong Ky - Deputy Director of Hanoi Police - frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations affecting data quality and general progress.
Major General Nguyen Hong Ky requested units to seriously learn from experience, clarify personal responsibilities, and strictly handle cases of recidivism. For recommendations and proposals of the Commune-level Police, assign relevant functional departments to synthesize and report to the CATP leaders for consideration and direction to resolve.
In the coming time, Major General Nguyen Hong Ky requested units to continue to strengthen direction and inspection; ensure the process of collecting, reviewing and approving data; step up propaganda and mobilizing people to participate in "self-intake data"; mobilize forces to support people to declare on iHanoi; focus on reviewing and cleaning data according to the roadmap from easy to difficult; strengthen inspection, urging, guiding and promptly removing difficulties.
The Deputy Director of Hanoi Police requested the City Public Administration Service Center to continue to complete the system, ensure stable operation and data security, contributing to the completion of the peak on schedule.
