To cope with storm No. 5, the People's Committee of Dien Chau commune (Nghe An) has mobilized over 700 households with about 2,000 people in the danger zone to evacuate to Dien Bich Primary School for shelter. The school has arranged 23 classrooms as temporary accommodation for people.
Teacher Cao Thi Thu Hien - Principal of Dien Bich Primary School said: "Given the complicated developments of the storm, the school has fully prepared all conditions for people to feel secure in taking shelter".

The family of Ms. Dau Thi Thuy, Hai Bac hamlet, shared: "We moved here from August 23 when the government mobilized us. Although I am still worried, I feel it is safer to stay at home.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen - Dien Chau Commune Military Command affirmed: "We have mobilized 100% of households in the dangerous area to safe shelters".
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 4:00 a.m. on August 25, the center of storm No. 5 was at about 18.3 degrees North latitude; 107.7 degrees East longitude, about 220km from Nghe An, about 200km East Southeast of Ha Tinh, about 180km East Northeast of Bac Quang Tri.
