Currently, there are dangerous areas in the ward at risk of being unsafe when the storm makes landfall, including the residential area of Hoa Lam block, Thuan Hoa (old Hung Hoa commune), the 20C apartment complex, Hoang Thi Loan tenement collective, 301 Company 6 collective, Vinh riverside area, 3-storey building area of Vinh Fiber Factory and Vinh market with a total of nearly 1,400 households.
The Party Committee - People's Committee of the ward has arranged 10 evacuation points at schools, health stations, ward administrative headquarters, cultural houses of all blocks... and at the same time prepared necessities and medical supplies to support people when needed.
The Ward Party Secretary requested functional forces to guide people to tie up houses, prune trees, clear sewers; organize emergency evacuation of poor households and disadvantaged and disadvantaged families; arrange vehicles and machinery on site to proactively rescue and save lives.
At the same time, the ward has increased propaganda through loudspeakers, closely monitoring the water level of Lam River, Vinh River and dykes and embankments. The on-duty force is deployed 24/7 to implement the "4 on-site" motto in natural disaster prevention.
