Common rainfall is from 20-50mm. Some places recorded high rainfall such as Ninh Thuong 99.6mm, Hoa Son Lake 70mm and Suoi Dau Lake 59mm.
Due to the impact of heavy rain, localized flooding appeared in some areas of Thuan Nam commune.
Specifically, Van Lam - Son Hai new road, Van Lam 3 village; road 709, spillway area near Tan Nam Chinh Company, Hieu Thien village.

Faced with the above situation, Thuan Nam Commune Police requested people not to intentionally drive vehicles through deep flooded areas, fast-flowing water, spillways, especially when the depth and road surface condition cannot be determined.
People are advised to proactively choose other safe routes; reduce speed, turn on lights and increase safe distance when moving in heavy rain and limited visibility conditions.
In particular, people need to pay attention to children and the elderly; do not let relatives or young children arbitrarily pass through flooded areas and overflow banks at risk of unsafety.
When detecting deep flooding, strong water flow, landslides or dangerous locations, people need to promptly notify local authorities or the Police force for support and handling.
According to forecasts, from September 23 to 24, Khanh Hoa will continue to have moderate rain, heavy rain, locally very heavy rain and thunderstorms. Total rainfall is commonly from 50-130mm/period, in some places over 170mm/period.
Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station warns of the risk of heavy rain, over 100mm in 3 hours.
From the night of September 24, rain in the province tends to decrease, locally with moderate rain and thunderstorms. Common rainfall is from 10-30mm, in some places over 50mm.
Heavy rain is likely to cause flooding in low-lying areas and urban areas. In particular, it is necessary to prevent the risk of landslides in areas with steep terrain and weak geological foundation.
