On Provincial Road 160, there were 3 landslides, with a volume of mud and soil of nearly 750m3; a culvert was blocked.
The total estimated value of damage is more than 1.4 billion VND.


It is forecasted that in the next 6 hours, many areas of Lao Cai will continue to have moderate rain, some places will have heavy rain, with common rainfall from 10 - 30mm, some places may be over 50mm. The risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas is still high.
The Lao Cai Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control requires localities to closely monitor forecasts, organize 24/7 duty and report to the Department of Agriculture and Environment twice a day.
