Dak Lak - Heavy rain at night caused the stream water to rise, causing dozens of people's livestock to suffocate.

On September 6, the People's Committee of Tay Son commune (Dak Lak province) informed that heavy rain caused the water level of the stream in the locality to suddenly rise, causing dozens of livestock of local people to suffocate and die.

On the evening of September 5 and early morning of September 6, heavy rain occurred in the mountainous commune of Tay Son, east of Dak Lak province. The water flow in the streams in the above area was blocked by objects, causing the water level to suddenly rise.

Local people raising livestock (including cows, buffaloes, goats) in this area without time to relocate their herds. Rising water caused many cattle to suffocate and die.

According to the People's Committee of Tay Son commune, immediately after receiving information from the people on the morning of September 6, the local government sent forces to the area where the incident occurred to count the damage and find support solutions.

Initial statistics show that about 40 cattle died.
