Due to the impact of the circulation of storm No. 10, Hanoi City suffered heavy, continuous heavy rains for many hours.

The heavy rain has caused many streets to be at risk of serious flooding, obstructing traffic and making it difficult to travel.

Information from the Northern Hydrometeorological Station said that the Hanoi area is currently experiencing moderate rain, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain. It is forecasted that in the next 3-6 hours, Hanoi and neighboring areas will continue to have moderate to heavy rain, with total accumulated rainfall generally around 40-80mm, in some places higher.

Heavy rain caused water to drain slowly, many streets were deeply flooded such as Nguyen Tuan area, Pham Hung - Me Tri - Duong Dinh Nghe intersection, My Dinh, An Khanh... Some sections of the flooded water caused many cars to stall, and had to call for help.

The rain has not stopped, rivers and culverts in Hanoi's inner city have begun to overflow, draining out in time, causing many streets to be deeply flooded. Rising water caused serious traffic congestion, causing a series of vehicles to stall in the middle of the road. Many people were forced to walk and wade through water to find a way to move.
