    Tuyen Quang - Prolonged heavy rain caused many roads and houses in Na Hang town to be deeply flooded.

    On the morning of May 18, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Ma Quy Don - Vice Chairman of Na Hang District People's Committee said that last night, the area experienced prolonged heavy rain causing local flooding.

    "In particular, heavy rain caused many areas in Na Hang town to be deeply flooded. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.

    The authorities have assisted flooded households in moving their assets to a safe place and evacuating households at risk of landslides. Currently, the consequences are being overcome, environmental sanitation is being cleaned up, and damage statistics are being counted," the leader added.

    According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, during the night and early morning of May 18, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, and Bac Kan will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and some places will have very heavy rain.

    Rainfall from 7pm on May 17 to 3am on May 18 was over 150mm in some places such as Tan Lap (Ha Giang) 167mm, Na Hang (Tuyen Quang) 232mm, Yen Duong (Bac Kan) 214mm...

    In Na Hang town (Tuyen Quang), there was very heavy rain from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. with rainfall measured at Nha Dinh Dam Station 235mm, Na Hang Station up to 312mm.
