In addition, the authorities have also evacuated a number of households whose houses were flooded. In Tong Rang B village, a house of a resident was buried by a hill behind it. Fortunately, the people in the house were able to run outside in time.
At Km68, National Highway 29 was flooded about 200m, making it impossible for vehicles to travel.

The authorities have deployed officers to checkpoint, prohibiting people and vehicles from passing through deeply flooded areas; and at the same time guiding vehicles in the direction of Buon Ma Thuot - Tuy Hoa through National Highway 19C and National Highway 25.
According to the Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from 7:00 p.m. on November 16 to 6:00 a.m. on November 17, the area experienced heavy to very heavy rain, generally 30 - 100 mm, in some places over 300 mm, in Yang Mao commune alone measured 315 mm.
It is forecasted that in the next 6 hours, Dak Lak will continue to have heavy to very heavy rain; in the next 6 - 12 hours, floods on rivers are likely to reach alert level 1 to alert level 3.
