This was accompanied by localized flooding that caused damage to people and property.

After more than 2 months of flash floods, people are still focusing on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. At the same time, proactively take measures to respond to complex weather developments when it is the peak of the rainy season.

Mr. Trieu Duc Thong - Vice Chairman of Dong Phuc Commune People's Committee said that to respond to storms and floods, the commune has developed plans, issued early warnings and remote prevention, by informing people in areas at risk of natural disasters.

"The local government is actively promoting to prepare people for plans to be ready to relocate assets and houses in the face of complicated weather developments," said Mr. Thong.

The Department of Irrigation and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control of Thai Nguyen province has regularly reviewed and identified key and vulnerable areas that could lead to flooding, flash floods, and landslides to update the plan to ensure closeness to reality. At the same time, organize a 24/7 duty, prepare adequate materials and human resources to respond when situations occur.

In addition, the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control of Thai Nguyen province regularly updates information about natural disasters to communes and wards so that people can proactively prevent them.
