Hydropower reservoirs across the country are basically in stable condition, many large reservoirs reach the peak level approaching the normal water level.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 5:15 pm on February 23, in the Northern region, the terraced lakes on the Da River maintained high water levels. Lai Chau Lake reached 294.57m (near the normal water level of 295m), Son La Lake at 214.44m (nearly 215m).

Meanwhile, Hoa Binh reservoir reached 113.25m, lower than the normal water level of 117m but still ensures operating requirements.

Notably, the water flow to Hoa Binh reservoir reached 408m3/s, the total discharge through the plant reached 1,234m3/s - the largest discharge level among reservoirs in the Northern region today, serving the power generation needs of the national power system.

In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir recorded a water level of 114.66m, 120m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir 126m3/s, total discharge through the plant 121.83m3/s, stable power generation operation.

In the North Central region, Trung Son, Ban Ve, and Khe Bo reservoirs maintain water levels fluctuating around the permissible level.

Trung Son Lake reached 159.27m (near the normal water level of 160m), Ban Ve Lake reached 195.28m (200m lower than the normal water level), Khe Bo Lake reached 64.53m (nearly 65m).

In the South Central Coast, many lakes have quite good elevations such as A Vuong reaching 375.68m, Song Bung 4 reaching 221.31m, Song Ba Ha reaching 104.59m - all approaching the normal water level.

Some reservoirs such as Vinh Son B, Vinh Son C have not generated electricity and discharged water at the time of statistics.

In the Central Highlands region, large reservoirs are basically operating stably. Ialy Lake reached 509.77m (515m lower than the normal water level), Se San 4 reached 213.99m (nearly 215m), Buon Tua Srah reached 485.84m (nearly 487.5m).

In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir reached 61.61m, approaching the normal water level of 62m, and has not yet been discharged for regulation.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for February 22nd, the Northeast region will have rain, scattered light rain. Cold at night and in the morning.
