Hydropower reservoirs across the country are still lower than the normal water level, some large reservoirs on the Da River system record high water inflow and power generation.

According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 12:00 on June 24, in the Northern region, Son La Lake had the largest water inflow to the lake with 1,939 m3/s, total discharge reaching 2,872 m3/s. Hoa Binh Lake recorded a water inflow of 1,892 m3/s, total discharge 2,376 m3/s.

Lai Chau Lake has a water flow to the lake of 633 m3/s and discharged 1,351 m3/s. Tuyen Quang Lake maintains a total discharge volume of 713.8 m3/s, while Thac Ba Lake discharges 376.47 m3/s.

In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water inflow rate of 92 m3/s, and Ban Ve Lake reaches 39 m3/s. Khe Bo Lake generates electricity with a total discharge rate of 217.6 m3/s, significantly higher than the water inflow rate of the lake.

The South Central Coast region recorded water flow to reservoirs at a low to medium level. Song Tranh 2 reservoir has a water flow rate of 46.54 m3/s; Song Ba Ha reservoir reached 26 m3/s; A Vuong reservoir reached 12.77 m3/s. Most reservoirs do not discharge through spillways.

In the Central Highlands, Se San 3A reservoir has the highest inflow rate in the region with 340 m3/s, followed by Se San 4 reservoir with 294 m3/s and Srepok 3 reservoir reaching 190 m3/s. Ialy reservoir recorded inflow rate of 41 m3/s and total discharge rate of 94 m3/s. Some reservoirs such as An Khe and Buon Kuop are operating discharge through spillways on a small scale.

In the Southeast region, Tri An reservoir has a water inflow to the reservoir reaching 510 m3/s, with a total discharge volume of 258 m3/s. The reservoir water level is at 53.11 m, significantly lower than the normal water level of 62 m.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 24, the midland and delta areas of the Northern region, the east of provinces from Gia Lai to Dak Lak will have intense heat, especially intense in some places with the highest temperature commonly 37-39 degrees Celsius, in some places above 39 degrees Celsius.

The area from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang and the East of Quang Ngai province has intense and especially intense heat with the highest temperature commonly 38-40 degrees Celsius, with some places above 40 degrees Celsius.
