According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 4:00 PM on June 21, Son La Lake had a water inflow rate of 1,109 m3/s, the highest in the area. The upstream water level reached 196.42m, 18.58m lower than the normal water level. The plant is generating electricity with a discharge rate of 553 m3/s.
At Lai Chau reservoir, the water inflow to the reservoir reached 761 m3/s, while the power generation flow was at 1,568 m3/s. The reservoir water level reached 287.73m, 7.27m lower than the normal elevation.
Ban Chat Lake recorded a water flow to the lake of 469.5 m3/s, the water level reached 450.16m. Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 368.91m, only 0.91m higher than the dead water level, the water flow to the lake reached 172 m3/s.
At Hoa Binh reservoir, the water level reached 99.85m, 17.15m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the reservoir reached 178 m3/s, equivalent to a power generation flow of 171 m3/s.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake has a water level of 99.83m, water inflow to the lake reaches 563 m3/s and has not been discharged. Thac Ba Lake maintains a water level of 48.7m, water inflow to the lake is 77 m3/s, while the power generation flow reaches 207.06 m3/s.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 21, the midland and delta areas of the Northern region, from Hue to Da Nang and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will be hot, with intense heat in some places with the highest common temperature of 35-37 degrees C, in some places above 38 degrees C.
The area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Tri has intense heat, especially intense in some places with the highest temperature in some places above 39 degrees Celsius.
