According to updated data from the reservoir operation management system at 6:20 am on July 29, the water level at large hydropower reservoirs across the country is generally stable, mostly lower than the normal water level.
In the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 107.49 m, 120 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir reached 1,562 m3/s, total discharge volume 1,226.91 m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway 510 m3/s, through the plant 716.91 m3/s and maintaining 1 deep discharge gate.
In the Northwest region, Son La reservoir has a water level of 198.14 m, water inflow to the reservoir 3,527 m3/s, total discharge volume 3,249 m3/s, all through the plant. Hoa Binh reservoir recorded a water level of 100.56 m, water inflow to the reservoir 3,990 m3/s, total discharge volume 4,473 m3/s, including 1,476 m3/s through the spillway and 2,997 m3/s through the plant, while maintaining 1 deep discharge gate.
Lai Chau Lake reached 288.02 m, inflow to the lake 1,844 m3/s, total discharge volume 1,575 m3/s. Ban Chat Lake is at 470.32 m, inflow to the lake 539 m3/s, total discharge volume 243 m3/s. Huoi Quang Lake reached 369.77 m, inflow to the lake 356 m3/s, total discharge volume 340 m3/s. Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 52.22 m, inflow to the lake 633 m3/s, total discharge volume 445.41 m3/s.
In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water level of 151.51 m, inflow to the lake 764 m3/s, total discharge volume 480 m3/s. Ban Ve Lake reached 174.96 m, inflow to the lake 361 m3/s and has not yet discharged water. Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 64.36 m, inflow to the lake 136.3 m3/s, total discharge volume 209.7 m3/s. Quang Tri Lake maintains a water level of 457.38 m, inflow to the lake 2 m3/s, total discharge volume 18 m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, most reservoirs operate stably and do not discharge through spillways.
A Vuong Lake has a water level of 351.59 m, inflow to the lake 43.04 m3/s, total discharge volume 59 m3/s. Song Bung 2 Lake reached 577.88 m and has not been discharged. Song Bung 4 Lake is at 208.81 m; Song Tranh 2 reached 150.69 m; Song Ba Ha reached 102.28 m; Vinh Son A discharged 7.78 m3/s through the plant.
Hinh River alone has a negative flow to the lake according to operating data, the total discharge through the plant reaches 15.22 m³/s.
In the Central Highlands, Ialy reservoir has a water level of 498.36 m, water inflow to the reservoir is 183 m3/s, total discharge is 282 m3/s. Se San 3 and Se San 4 reservoirs both maintain a total discharge of 450 m3/s.
An Khe Lake opens 1 surface discharge gate, discharging 4 m3/s through the spillway. Buon Kuop Lake opens 1 deep discharge gate, discharging 15.26 m3/s through the spillway. Pleikrong, Thuong Kon Tum, Buon Tua Srah, Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, Don Duong, Dai Ninh, Ham Thuan and Da Mi reservoirs all maintain stable water levels, not discharging through the spillway.
In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 51.8 m, water inflow to the lake 1,300 m3/s, total discharge volume 829 m3/s through the plant. Thac Mo Lake maintains a water level of 201.77 m, water inflow to the lake 317.23 m3/s, total discharge volume 180 m3/s.
