According to updated data from the reservoir management and operation monitoring system at 16:00 on July 30, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 107.64m, 12.36m lower than the normal water level of 120m. The water flow to the reservoir reached 1,063m3/s, the total discharge flow was 1,262.54m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway was 512m3/s, through the plant was 714.54m3/s with 1 deep discharge gate operating.
In the Northwest region, Hoa Binh reservoir is at an altitude of 100.24m, 16.76m lower than the normal water level. Inflow to the reservoir reached 3,910m3/s, total discharge flow of 4,393m3/s, including 1,470m3/s through the spillway and 2,923m3/s through the plant, maintaining 1 deep discharge gate.
Son La Lake has a water level of 198.2m, water inflow of 3,386m3/s, total discharge flow of 3,237m3/s, all through power generation. Lai Chau Lake recorded water inflow and discharge at a level of 1,534m3/s.
Meanwhile, Ban Chat reservoir reached a water level of 470.73m, Huoi Quang reservoir reached 368.73m, both near the normal water level and did not have to discharge through the spillway. Thac Ba reservoir has a water level of 52.57m, water inflow of 472m3/s, total discharge flow of 439.2m3/s.
In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake reached a water level of 151.96m, with a flow rate of 662m3/s, the total discharge flow corresponding to 662m3/s, including 186m3/s through the spillway and 476m3/s through the plant with 2 open surface discharge gates. Ban Ve Lake has a water level of 176.1m, without discharging water. Khe Bo Lake reached 64.3m, with a discharge flow rate of 432.3m3/s, while Quang Tri Lake maintained a water level of 457.67m, with a total discharge flow rate of only 8m3/s.
In the South Central Coast, most reservoirs have low water flow and do not have to discharge through spillways. A Vuong reservoir reached a water level of 352.49m, Song Tranh 2 reservoir at 151.05m, Song Ba Ha reservoir reached 102.13m. Song Bung 2, Song Bung 4, Vinh Son A, Vinh Son B, Vinh Son C reservoirs are all operating stably with low water flow.
The Central Highlands region recorded many reservoirs continuing to generate electricity and regulate water. Ialy Lake reached a water level of 497.37m, water inflow rate of 138m3/s, total discharge rate of 106m3/s. Se San 4 Lake has a total discharge rate of 690m3/s, much higher than the water inflow rate of 102m3/s.
Srepok 3 reservoir discharges 382m3/s, Buon Kuop reservoir discharges 104.49m3/s, of which 15.49m3/s is through the spillway and 89m3/s through the plant with 1 deep discharge gate. An Khe reservoir is opening 1 surface discharge gate, discharge flow is 4m3/s.
In the Dong Nai River basin, Dong Nai 4 reservoir reached a water level of 475.64m, Dong Nai 3 reservoir reached 571.24m; Dai Ninh, Ham Thuan, Da Mi and Don Duong reservoirs all maintained water levels below normal water levels, operating for stable power generation.
In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 52.55m, water inflow of 1. 160m3/s, total discharge flow of 802m3/s. Thac Mo Lake reached a water level of 202.15m, water inflow of 189.17m3/s, total discharge flow of 179m3/s.
