According to updated data from the reservoir operating system at 11:00 am on July 31, at Hoa Binh reservoir, the upstream water level reached 100.05 m, nearly 17 m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the reservoir reached 4,017 m3/s, the total discharge flow was 4,500 m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway was 1,467 m3/s, through the plant was 3,033 m3/s. The reservoir is opening 1 deep discharge gate.
Son La Lake has a water level of 198.11 meters, water inflow to the lake is 2,948 m3/s, total discharge is 3,254 m3/s, all through power generation.
Lai Chau Lake reached a water level of 288.91 meters, with a water inflow and discharge volume of 1,582 m3/s.
At Tuyen Quang reservoir, the water level reached 107.42 meters, the water flow to the reservoir was 1,064 m3/s, the total discharge volume was 1,226.7 m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway was 509 m3/s, through the plant was 717.7 m3/s. The reservoir is opening 1 deep discharge gate.
Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 52.67 meters, a water inflow of 745 m3/s, and a total discharge of 445.9 m3/s.
In the North Central region, Trung Son Lake has a water level of 151.9 meters, water inflow to the lake 532 m3/s, total discharge volume 474 m3/s. Ban Ve Lake reaches 176.32 meters, water inflow 306 m3/s, total discharge volume 330 m3/s. Khe Bo Lake has a water level of 63.77 meters, water inflow 357.9 m3/s, total discharge volume 215.1 m3/s. Quang Tri Lake operates with a water inflow of 13 m3/s, total discharge volume 9 m3/s.
In the South Central region, A Vuong, Song Bung 2, Song Bung 4, Song Tranh 2, Song Ba Ha, Song Hinh reservoirs and Vinh Son reservoir cluster all maintained water levels lower than normal water levels, and no reservoirs discharged through spillways.
In the Central Highlands, Ialy Lake has a water level of 498.53 meters, a water inflow of 400 m3/s, and a total discharge volume of 201 m3/s. Se San 4 Lake has a water inflow and discharge volume of 460 m3/s.
Notably, An Khe Lake has a water level of 428.36 meters, with a total discharge volume of 27.2 m3/s, of which 4 m3/s is discharged through the spillway, 23.2 m3/s through the plant, and 1 surface discharge gate is opened.
Buon Kuop Lake has a water level of 409.47 meters, a water inflow of 160 m3/s, a total discharge volume of 310.85 m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway is 14.85 m3/s, through the plant is 296 m3/s, and 1 deep discharge gate is opened.
Dong Nai 3, Dong Nai 4, Don Duong, Dai Ninh, Ham Thuan and Da Mi reservoirs are all operating stably, without discharging through spillways.
In the Southeast region, Tri An Lake has a water level of 52.78 meters, a water inflow of 1,080 m3/s, a total discharge volume of 540 m3/s. Thac Mo Lake has a water level of 202.38 meters, a water inflow of 166.26 m3/s and has not yet discharged water.
