According to data from Vietnam Electricity Group, at 11:00 AM on March 10, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang Lake recorded an upstream water level of 114.38 m, lower than the normal water level by 120 m. The water flow to the lake reached 127 m3/s, while the total discharge amount was 122.26 m3/s, all through the plant.
In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 294.64 m, close to the normal water level of 295 m. Water flow to the lake is 139 m3/s, total discharge is 35 m3/s, all through the plant.
Ban Chat Lake is currently at 446.43 m, significantly lower than the normal water level of 475 m. The water flow to the lake is 17 m3/s, while the total discharge is 248 m3/s through the power plant.
At Huoi Quang reservoir, the water level reached 369.63 m, close to the normal level of 370 m. Inflow to the reservoir 260 m3/s, total discharge 264 m3/s.
Son La Lake recorded a water level of 214.96 m, approximately the normal water level of 215 m. Water flow to the lake is 349 m3/s, total discharge is 363 m3/s through the plant.
Meanwhile, Hoa Binh reservoir has a water level of 113.75 m, which is 117 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir reaches 467 m3/s, total discharge volume 460 m3/s, mainly serving power generation.
In addition, Thac Ba Lake is at 54.92 m, lower than the normal water level by 58 m. Water flow to the lake is 97 m3/s, total discharge is 65.85 m3/s.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the weather forecast for March 10th, the Northern region has showers and thunderstorms in some places. The weather will turn cold with the lowest temperature around 15 - 18 degrees C, mountainous areas in some places below 14 degrees C.
The area from Ha Tinh to eastern Gia Lai has rain, moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.
The Southern region in the late afternoon and night has showers and thunderstorms in some places; sunny during the day.
